We were released from the hospital Friday afternoon and are so relieved to be home, spending a relaxing weekend with my dad and Mary.  After a week at Children’s Mercy, the GI doctors diagnosed Hannah with a dairy allergy.  They instructed me to eliminate all dairy from my diet and were hopeful that in doing so, Hannah would be fine.  We are hopeful, too.  Hannah is doing really well, is seemingly more content when she’s awake and has been sleeping well.  We’ve experienced a few hiccups here and there but overall, she already seems to be doing better.

We are so grateful for all of the support and encouragement and prayer this past week.  We felt completely rallied behind and covered and I don’t think that we could have gotten through it nearly as well without the support of everyone.  We were so humbled by the emails and cards and visits.

More thoughts to come… but in the meantime, we’re looking forward to taking it easy the next several days and enjoying lots of quality family time!
